My butterfly designs are shaped and painted to represent different species found in the UK: Cabbage White, Common Blue, Orange Tip & Yellow Brimstone. They are 7-9 cm wide and 4-6cm high
All the butterflies are made from individually hand-cut and carefully positioned pieces of glass. Decoration is added using enamel paints before they are fused together in our kiln at nearly 800°. They are fused onto a stainless steel rod which is approximately 30cm long.
